Ms Ryall - My adjournment request is for the Minister for Public Transport. The action I seek is that the minister direct Public Transport Victoria (PTV) to install Myki services at Paul's Supa IGA in Ringwood East.
My constituency question is for the Minister for Public Transport. Why is there no seating and shelter at bay 4 at Mitcham train station and bus interchange for the 738 bus? This bus goes to Knox, and many disabled and elderly people choose to travel to Knox from Mitcham station. They are forced to go to other shelters and other areas to get out of the rain and even to have a seat, which means they have got to rush and they find it very difficult to get to the bus that they need to take. I ask on behalf of my constituents what the reason is or why in fact there is no shelter or bus seat there.
My adjournment request is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety. The action I seek is for the resurfacing of Mitcham Road between Whitehorse Road and Springfield Road to address the state of disrepair of the road.
My adjournment request is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety. The action I seek is a full road safety review of Warrandyte Road in the vicinity of the Ringwood North shops, in particular along Warrandyte Road between Lockhart Road and after the roundabout as well. This specifically relates to road congestion in the area that is mounting and becoming gridlocked during peak hours. But it is also gridlocked during school drop-off and pick-up times. With the Andrews government's policy of increasing housing density, together with population increases, there are more vehicles and pedestrians on and around the roads than ever before. Residents are reporting that they see near misses from cars speeding through the pedestrian crossings when travelling north and south between Oban Road and Wonga Road. They also report that with the current speed limit residents struggle to get out of the streets and off Warrandyte Road due to heavy traffic.
My adjournment request is to the Minister for Public Transport. The action I seek is for the Minister to instruct the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) to undertake proper consultation with regard to reinstating the indented pick‑up and drop‑off zone at Forster Street near Heatherdale station as depicted in the architectural design pictures dated June 2015.
My constituency question is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety. Why has the minister not addressed in his response to my adjournment matter 14403 the request for the opportunity for cars to do a U-turn on Maroondah Highway between the EastLink off ramp and the Heatherdale Road and Dampier Grove intersection. My adjournment highlighted the need for it, but the minister has not referred to it in his response, and I would like to know why.
Ms RYALL - My adjournment request is for the Minister for Roads and Road Safety. The action I seek is to have a full road safety review at peak before and after school times on Mitcham Road between Springfield Road and the Mitcham Bowling Club. The review needs to ensure that flashing 40‑kilometre signs are installed on Mitcham Road outside Mullauna College. Mullauna College and Mitcham Primary School are next to each other and share a pedestrian crossing on Mitcham Road outside Mitcham Primary School.
Ms RYALL - My constituency question is for the Minister for Health. My question is: why does my constituent who is a pensioner have to wait more than 15 months to access the public dental service to receive attention for her chipped and damaged teeth?
Ms RYALL - My adjournment request is for the Minister for Sport, and the action I seek is for the minister to fund Mitcham sporting club to enable a contribution to a newly constructed modern clubroom facility that also caters for girls and women, one that can rapidly meet the growing sporting community needs at Walker Park in Nunawading now and into the future.
Ms RYALL - My request goes to the Minister for Roads and Road Safety, and the action I seek is for the minister to implement a pedestrian crossing on Maroondah Highway close to the vicinity of Everard Road in Ringwood so that residents of Ringwood Area Lions Aged Care (RALAC) Lionsbrae and others in the area catching the bus on Maroondah Highway can do so safely.
